In January, we were truly proud to sponsor the Australia Day event in Adelaide.
Thousands of people flocked to #ElderPark to celebrate Aus Lights on the River as part of the program of activities for #AustraliaDay2023.
The Nylon Zoo transfixed many with mega-sized bushland creatures and the Ecomaze.
The iconic rotunda was transformed to share the story of the river red gum from seed to an ancient tree and all the wildlife that call it home.
Lighting up the city-scape was the Adelaide Festival Theatre which featured a cultural light and sound display that was projected onto the exterior of the building telling the story of the six seasons of the #kaurna community, the traditional custodians of the Adelaide Plains.
And the cinematic fireworks created a scenic light show that reflected onto the Torrens River accompanied by originally composed music.
Thank you to more than a 100 volunteers who worked across our events including Aus Lights on the River. We are grateful for the time and effort you have invested.
Australia Day 2023 and Aus Lights on the River are presented in partnership with the City of Adelaide, Vili's, Epson, PH8 Natural Alkaline Water. The event is assisted by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council and supported by the Government of South Australia.
